In which health care settings would the selected health professional work and if applicable how would their job title differ between each setting?

The selected health care professionals in this case are the Doctor, personal service assistant (Ward Support / Orderly) and personal care assistant. Health care settings where these people can work are the hospitals, mainly the public hospitals. These professionals can work in public institutions depending on their levels of professionalism and skills. The job title of a doctor may differ depending on their qualification and their positions in the board committee (McLaughlin & Hays, 2008). For instance, a doctor may be referred to as medical officer in some health institutions; others may refer to the chief doctor as the medical superintendent. Other junior doctors may also be referred to as clinical officers who are in charge of clinics and small healthcare institutions. The personal assistant may be referred to as a nurse in some institutions. Their main job is to help the doctors in examining and assessing the progress of patients. The personal care attendant may be a social worker. In most cases, the services undertaken include cleaning, organizing patients, and giving them directions where necessary.
2. What qualifications (education) does the selected health professional require to commence work in their chosen profession?

For Doctors, their profession demands lots of professionalism and expertise. It is thus paramount for them to hold bachelors degree in Medicine (Porzsolt & Kaplan, 2010). In most countries, this is normally the standard qualification. In other places, clinical officers (junior doctors) may begin practicing with a diploma in clinical medicine. On the other hand, the personal service assistant (nurse) should have at least a diploma in nursing. In other countries, the qualification should be bachelors' degree in community health nursing. This knowledge will assist them in providing support services to the doctors who may never have sufficient time to monitor the progress of their patients personally.
